I had the honour of being the featured patient at a luncheon with Her Royal Highness, Sophie, Countess of Wessex. The luncheon was also attended by Melanie Munk, Loretta Rogers, executives from across UHN’s Senior Management team, and my incredible cardiologist – Heather Ross. It was a wonderful opportunity to share my experiences as a patient of the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre and to speak of my journey publicly, for the first time. All attendees were so gracious and supportive.
