Myself, along with another female cardiac patient, were featured in an article for the PMCC’s 2020 Annual Report regarding the phenomenal advancements that are being made in the field of Precision Medicine. Along with the Annual Report, the article was also featured in The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail.
To Emily, it was so great meeting you. My hope is that the bravery of sharing our faces and stories will not only help raise awareness of the epidemic of heart failure in Canada, but also help educate the public, and other patients, about the future possibilities of precision medicine in patient care.
